May 20, 2021School of Global Governance organizes "International Organizations in China-A Visit to the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB)".
On 17th May, the School of Global Governance of Renmin University of China (RUC) led the members of the AIIB study group, part of the ongoing "International Organizations Competency Acquirement Programme", to visit the headquarters of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) at the Asia Finance Building in Chaoyang District. Wang Zhan, Manager of the Facilities and Administrative Services Bureau of the AIIB, received the students and teachers.

May 06, 2021International Organizations in China: A Visit to the UNFPA Representative Office
In order to enhance the understanding of the work of United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and the work related to gender equality, on April 29, the brand practice course “International Organizations in China” of the School of Global Governance of Renmin University of China (RUC) held a practical visit to the UNFPA China Representative Office in conjunction with the school’s ongoing “International Organization Competency Training Program”. A group consisting of Professor Liu Shuang from the School of Social Research, Hu Qifan, project manager at the School of Global Governance, and five students of School of Global Governance visited the UNFPA Representative Office in China. They were received by Ren Yanan, the project officer responsible for social gender issues at the UNFPA Representative Office in China.

April 25, 2021International Organizations in China: A Visit to the UNICEF China Office & Zhicheng Lawyers
To increase understanding of the work of UNICEF and the protection of minors, on 7 and 19 April, the brand practice course “International Organizations in China” of the School of Global Governance of Renmin University of China (RUC) combined with the “International Organization Competency Training Program” activities being carried out by the school, and organized the practice visit activities of “Entering Zhicheng Lawyers” and “Entering UNICEF China Office” respectively.

On 8 April, the “International Organizations in China” programme of the School of Global Governance(SGG) of RUC made a visit to the U.N. Association of China (UNAC). Shi Yan’an, Director of the International Office of RUC and Executive Director of SGG, Wang Zhijia, former Special Coordinator of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and lecturer of SGG, and 20 students attended this event. Zhang Dan, Vice President and Director General of UNAC, met with the students and faculty.

October 21, 2020Online Exchange Event Held between WHO, UNAIDS and Renmin University of China
On October 19, 2020, the second UN Job Fair cum the World Health Organization & UNAIDS Special Exchange Event was held at Renmin University of China. The event was hosted by the China Scholarship Council of the Ministry of Education and organized by the School of Global Governance, RUC. The event took place in the form of “online presentation and collective participation”. Professor Du Peng, Vice President of RUC and Dean of the School of Global Governance, was invited to deliver a video message for the event.

On the morning of October 18th, 2019, the Inauguration Ceremony of the School of Global Governance, Renmin University of China was successfully held in the Mingde Main Building, RUC.
